How to Fund Your Account
When sending in money to your account, you can use several methods. You can arrange for a wire transfer, an automatic deposit or you could send in a check. If you send in a check, please always make the check payable to, “Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.”. Please indicate the name and account number of the account you want it deposited to. If it is for an IRA or a SEP, please indicate the tax year you want the contribution credited to.
Here are three methods of sending in monies:
1. iPhone and Android users can deposit in most cases from their phone. You will need to download the Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (Schwab Mobile) app and log into your account.
2. Send to our firm. We will forward to Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. We will track the progress. We generally will scan your check to Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. If we are not able to scan your check, we will FedEx it to Charles Schwab. Always make checks out to “Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.”. Please do not make checks out to Redfield, Blonsky & Starinsky, LLC.
3. Send to Charles Schwab directly. If you do this, we suggest sending in a method where you can track the package. Please let us know when you send in funds directly to Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., as we can monitor the receipt of funds to your account.
